For the past 20 years, we feed stray cats living in our neighborhood. We live close to a park where many animals wind up being dumped and make their way eventually to us. A few weeks ago, this young black cat showed up. At first he was scared of me but after I fed him, he became friendly and affectionate, ended up on our front porch. He lets me pick him up and love on him. He's a little possessive and/or territorial, but I've been working with him and he is doing much better. He would probably be better off in a home without other pets or cats. I don't know how he would do around children. He is not fixed, nor had any shots as far as we know. We believe he would be a wonderful house cat (in fact, we insist he lives indoors) to the person who will feed him canned food and give him lots of attention. If it doesn't work out, you can always bring him back, but we hope to find him a home before the cruel cold of winter returns. If interested, please send me a message.
